Dana Shiree is from Westchester, NY and currently resides in Los Angeles, California. She received her B.F.A in Acting from Emerson College and has received additional training at The Imagined Life, The Groundlings, and Stella Adler Acting Studio.
Dana recently shot a commercial for Snapchat and acted in numerous shorts films including, Ace and Anxious, which was a finalist in the New York Short Film and Screenplay Competition. Additionally, she starred as Annette in the play God of Carnage at Hamilton Stages in Rahway, NJ and wrapped an NBCUniversal show for ID Discovery. Other credits include a commercial for The Shabbos Project, an organization started in South Africa to promote unity within families and society at large and starred in the indie film Convenience. She also has attended an acting workshop in Koufonisi, Greece studying Action Theater under Sarah Hickler.
Dana takes pride in her commitment to training and education. She is skilled in Meisner, Linklater Voice, Laban Movement and Alexander Technique, among others. Dana is inspired by artists such as Kate Winslet, Michelle Williams and Alicia Vikander for their brave portrayals of honest, complex women in film, and she hopes to also inspire others through film and television. She is excited about the opportunity to share her work as a passionate and dedicated young actor.
